- Must be Registered as a Nurse and Registered Midwife with PNC. Males must have a year course/certificate in nursing nursing-related fields instead of Midwifery.
- Second Class or Grade ‘C’ Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification from a College/university/institution recognized by Pakistan Nursing Council.
- 03-year diploma in General Nursing with a one-year diploma in Midwifery for females and a one-year course/certificate in nursing-related fields instead of Midwifery for males.
