AFNS Pak Army Registration 2024

Armed Forces Nursing Services (AFNS) admission 2024 required complete criteria and other requirements. There are two courses announced on an annual basis first is the BSc nursing qualification required is Matric with 60% marks and the FSc (Pre-Medical) with 50% marks but for Trained nurses, the education must be BSc 4 years degree program, or 03 years nursing diploma, and 1 year midwifery course. The minimum age requirement is 18-28 years.

Types of AFNS in Pakistan Army

There are two types of FANS (Armed Forces Nursing Services) for which female candidates from all over Pakistan may apply

• B.SC Nursing (Permanent Regular Commission PRC)
• Trained Nurse Through Short Service Regular Commission SSRC

B.Sc Nursing Requirements to Join Pak Army 2024

• Nationality: Pakistani, AJK, and Gilgit Baltistan
• Marital Status: Unmarried
• Education: Female candidates must pass their Matric with Biology Subject with 60% marks and FSc (Pre-Medical) must be passed with 50% marks.
• Age Limit: 17-25 years
• Height: 5 Feet ( 152.4 cm)
• Weight: According to BMI (Body Mass Index)
• If females have passed FSc (Pre-Medical) part-I with 50% marks then they may apply for this job on Hope Certificates signed by the head of the department.
• AFNS Training: After the selection in the Pak Army as AFNS  BSc Nursing, training is started in AFPGMI Rawalpindi, CMH Lahore, CMH Kharian, CMH Multan, CMH Quetta, and PNS Shifa Karachi and the duration of training is 4 years.
• On the completion of successful training, AFNS are granted Commission in the Rank of Lieutenant.
• AFNS Uniform: Selected females in the Pakistan Army as AFNS are allowed to wear the official Pak Army uniform.

Note: Female Candidates from Azad Kasmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Chitral, district Kohistan required FA/FSC qualification with 55% marks.

Trained Nurse Requirements to Join Pak Army as AFNS

• Nationality: Pakistani, AJK, and Gilgit Baltistan
• Marital Status: Married/ Unmarried
• Education: BSc 4 years degree program, or 03 years nursing diploma, and 1 year midwifery course
• Age Limit: 18-28 Years

• Weight: According to Body Mass Index(BMI)
• AFNS Trained Nurse Training: Basic Military Training of 06 weeks is carried out at AFPGMI Rawalpindi and CMH Khariaan.
• AFNS Rank: After the completion of successful training as an AFNS Trained Nurse they are granted Commission in the Pak Army in the Rank of Lieutenant.
• For Trained Nurse, you may also apply on Hope Certificate if you have gotten 50% marks in FSc par-I.

Which Females are Ineligible to Join Pak Army as AFNS?

• Those who are Declared Medically Unfit by the Appeal Medical Board
• Those who were dismissed/ removed from any other government institution.
• Those who withdrawn/ resigned/ discharged from Armed Forces (Army, Navy, and Air Force) training academies/institutions based on discipline, character, medical inefficiency, weak profile, or declared unsuitable.
• Those Convicted by a Court for a misdeed involving moral crime.

Documents Required for AFNS Registration 2024

The following documents are required when candidates visit the Pakistan Army Selection and Recruitment Center (AS&RCS) for registration.

• Original educational certificates/ mark sheet with 02 photocopies of each document.
• Attested Photocopy of Domicile.
• Photocopies of Computerized National Identity Card CNIC.
• 03 color photographs attested front and back from a gazetted officer.

AFNS Selection Process 2024

• Candidates can register either via the Internet or by visiting Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCS) for the registration of AFNS Jobs.
• Females may register themselves on the Pak Army website www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk. The test date and time will be intimated through email if you provide your email account. Candidates are to report on the exact date and time given for the initial test on the computerized roll no slip. The date once given will not be changed. Females must have computer knowledge because intelligence tests and academic tests will be conducted on a computer.
• If you don’t have an internet facility then you must visit the Army selection and recruitment center for registration and allotment of roll number along with relevant documents. Candidates must produce all necessary documents at the time of tests.
• Written and intelligence tests will be based on multiple-choice (MCQs) and the candidates declared from these tests will undergo physical/medical tests and interviews.

How to Download Registration Slip/Roll No Slip for AFNS Jobs in Pak Army

After registration at the Pak Army website, females must keep visiting to download exam slip/roll number slip for tests for AFNS Jobs. Registration slip can be downloaded by giving your CNIC number on the login portal. Registration slip/ Exam slip contains test date, time, and venue information. AFNS Merit List 2024

AFNS Salary During Training and After Training

During training the Armed Forces Nursing Service(AFNS) avails only basic pay of Rs.31000/month and after training they get a starting salary of Rs. 51000/month including different types of allowances. The maximum salary the AFNS can get is PKR 365000/month. The salary of AFNS also increases annually and with service according to their salary scale.
