Eligibility Criteria and Requirement for SPU Jobs 2024

Male and female candidates from Punjab who want to Join Punjab Police as a Security Constable in Special Protection Unit must meet the following eligibility requirements.

• Domicile: All Punjab
• Gender: Male and Female
• Posts Name: Security Constable and Lady Constable
• Qualification: Matric pass with 50% marks from recognized board.
• Age Limit: 18-22 Years
• Height for Males: 5 feet and 7 inches
• Height for Females: 5 feet and 2 inches
• Chest Requirements: 33 inches to 34.75 inches.
• Physical Test Requirements;
  • 1.6 Kilometers running for Males and must be completed in 7 minutes
  • 1.6 KM running for Females and completion time is 10 minutes.

Selection Procedure for SPU Punjab Police Jobs 2024

Willing candidates who want to be selected as Constable in the Punjab Police Special Protection Unit must pass the following tests

• Written Test: After registration at the official website, candidates are called for a written test that will be MCQs-based.
• Candidates who pass their written test will proceed to the medical test which includes;
  • Height measurements
  • Chest Measurement
  • Blood Test
  • Color Bling Test
  • Genital Test
  • Hepatitis Test
• A Physical test will be conducted for those candidates who passed their medical test which includes;
  • 1.6 Kilometers running for both males and females and the completion time for males is 7 minutes and for females 10 minutes.
• For applicants who passed all the above-mentioned tests, a comprehensive interview will be conducted for final selection.

SPU Punjab Police Salary

During training a Security Constable in the Special Protection Unit(SPU) will receive a basic pay of about PKR 19000/Month but after training when the SPU Constables are deployed at the required duty place they will be given a starting salary of about PKR 41000 to 49000/Month. The salary of a Security Constable in SPU increases annually and with the rank and service.
